Join Tom and his Sicilian squadra (team) to guide you through a cultural immersion in Ortigia, a neighborhood of Siracusa. The program is in English; Tom will lead interactive Italian lessons every morning for those who are interested.

You will be based Royal Hotel Maniace, with stunning views of Ortigia and the Mediterranean Sea. We will take one local excursion per day—including a day trip to Noto—or immerse ourselves in one local activity per day, e.g., a luxury private yacht around Ortigia.

For anyone who loves Italy and Sicily. We pride ourselves in our rich yet not-too-busy programs.
What will we do? (Cosa facciamo?)
Private lunch and tasting at 1000-year-old winery.
Screen “Il Postino” at the Museo del Mare, followed by Tom’s talk on the film.
Visit Noto, the stunning city that was entirely rebuilt after an earthquake in 1600.
Cook together at Chef Anita’s beautiful villa in Siracusa.
Private yacht around Ortigia at sunset, so nice we may do it twice!
